Peroni is the Italian lager,uses only selected ingredients such as 100% Italian Malt, the result of a special quality of barley, to offer Italians a high-quality beer. The palate will appreciate the delicate aroma with sweet notes of toasted cereals and aromatic hops.On the label of Peroni beer, which was recently subject to restyling, we read: “indiscutibilmente italiana” (“unquestionably Italian”) and, a little further down, “produced in Bari, Rome, Padua”. It is not a good single malt, it is not a good, say 12 year old blend; what it is, is a reliable "everyday" blend with wonderful gin-like, junipery notes on the nose (and even some on the palate, strangely enough) and with some length to the finish, which is all about smoke, chocolate and red apple. Beer Peroni Grand Reserve White is a high-fermentation Weiss beer born in Holland, however, using 100% Italian barley and wheat malt. This is a rich tasty beer great with food or as an aperitif and is one of the great lagers of the world.
