I purchased one of the first batches, one day at random I was in the mall and decided to spay some on a strip, immediately I noticed a difference in the fragrance there definitely seems to be a change.

After sitting on my vanity for a few months it lost the creaminess and developed that "old generic cologne" harsh note that has become dominating in the opening, and it lost some other notes that were once prominent, it does smell quite different now. Anyway All of chanel men’s frags are absolutely amazing masterpieces but they just don’t project or last without over spraying—we’re talking 8-12 sprays . I have both the EDP and parfum and I love the smell of parfum so much more than the EDP but this stuff I barely notice it at all, after 30 minutes, I just barely notice it on me.

All three versions of Bleu De Chanel are very similar however the parfum excels and is the most different of the three. EDP/EDT share pepper notes with Eros Flame which don't seem to be listed here for Parfum, but there's definitely providing that spice, and I wish there were more of it. yes Parfum smells a bit smoother better suited for mature people but not gonna get you that much comliments. It opens with powerful freshness, then lingers with a precious accord of New Caledonian sandalwood that unfurls its generous, powerful notes in a dense and sophisticated trail.

I dont know what some people were expecting from a designer fragrance like this, but for me this is more than enough. People who wear the edt or edp will get more compliments thanks to that characteristic bright and sharp grapefruit incense mint combo.
