Not only can you select an input from the HEOS app’s ‘Denon CEOL’ pane, there’s a separate ‘inputs’ option. This duplicates the CEOL’s inputs, but if you have other HEOS products around the house, you will also see their inputs here, as additional functionality to the platform’s multiroom operation. For the kitchen I have an old Marantz CR603. Over the years the DAB gave up and the online services available shrank as Marantz removed 3rd party integration ( still a thing I gather here). We use the radio a lot (FM/AM but DAB would cover most stations I hope), the CD occasionally and use the aux for phone. Would definitely want to have more streaming options. Have considered keeping the 603 but adding a Bluesound Node. Sorta prefer to keep it simple in kitchen (family use - presets preferred!). Sound quality is important to me but for kitchen use, it's not so critical. First of all, you get a CD-player built-in, so you can play your music collection as much as you like. You can also stream through your home network with Wi-Fi, or Bluetooth. The Denon also connects to a whole-house wireless audio system, so you can turn up the volume around your house.

A new Class D amplifier, and new components and circuit design, have been used for supposedly improved clarity and reduced noise You can even connect your HiFi system to your television with the available connectors in the system, or you can add a turntable too. I have considered going cheap with the DM41 v spending more on small 2/3 box units but the N11 appears to be middle ground which would suit. It’s easy to be impressed with the Denon CEOL N10. When you put on a CD (or USB key) and turn up the music, you are greeted by a charming and quite rich soundscape. There is ok pressure in the pass, and the music comes out of the speakers.
