Fresh seaweed, or dried and processed seaweed products are not true fertilisers because their plant nutrient content is not guaranteed or standardised. However there are more and more fertiliser products available to gardeners that now contain additionalseaweed extracts. The feeds we trialled came in various forms – most were concentrated liquids, but two were soluble granules. Miracle-Gro Liquafeed Concentrated Universal Liquid Plant Feed came in a bottle that attached to its own spray head. The concentrate was automatically mixed into the stream of water coming from the hose. Ecofective Organic Pour and Feed was a ready-to-use product that didn’t have to be mixed before use. For fully grown plants, apply 45ml (4 and a half inner capfuls) in 9 litres of water and apply every 10 to 14 days. Lawns: Spray solution of 2 fluid ounces per gallon of water (1,000 sq. ft. coverage) per month. (minimum 5 applications per season)This bio-stimulant product offers many benefits to growers including stimulating beneficial soil microbes, boosting root growth, enhancing chlorophyll production and retention and alleviating environmental stress such as heat, cold, drought, wind and phyto-toxicity. My opinion if it helps then it is beneficial to Gardening in some way. Not as most predict but it could be helpful.
