Mink asserted an individualist feminism that emphasized female difference, and a non-collectivist anarchism advocating decentralized authority and a balance between liberty and equality for all men and women. Léo promoted a rights-based feminist socialist collectivism, advancing a society based in individual liberty made just through equality. 2 These three women strove to create their visions of a just and egalitarian society. Working to restructure socio-economic relations, they endeavored to eradicate such barriers to liberty, justice, and opportunity.
