Please note: for owners of Nintendo 2DS systems that come with Pokémon Red Version, Pokémon Blue Version or Pokémon Yellow Version: Special Pikachu Edition pre-installed, an updated version of the game is currently being distributed on Nintendo eShop. If the trials prove too tough to go it alone, up to four friends can team up in co-operative multiplayer and take heavy-duty enemies to task! You can also test each other’s might in local multiplayer battles, or if you prefer to play more peacefully, friends can take a break together to fish, catch bugs, mine, cook and explore the world.
