The Octopod's waterworks become clogged with frightened reef triggerfish. The Octonauts must find a way to flush them out. When an underwater hurricane destroys a small reef, which a frogfish and other creatures depend on, Tweak and her crew must convert the recently destroyed Gup-F into an artificial reef before the second stage of the hurricane strikes! Hungry gulper eel brothers as well as undersea tremors threaten Inkling and Kwazii and get trapped by boulders. So Dashi uses Tweak's newly built "Octo Mach-Suit" to rescue them.

Captain Barnacles allows Tunip to use his Octo-compass. But when Tunip loses it, a cuttlefish takes it. This vehicle is one of the only amphibious gups in the franchise so far, allowing it to drive on both land and sea. A dome is included to help it go underwater. A good friend of Tweak. She swims long distances and makes appointments to meet the Octonauts in several episodes. When Barnacles, Kwazii, Peso, and Shellington find a mysterious hidden lake underneath Antarctica, Shellington is eager to find some new undiscovered creatures living in the red water. Captain Barnacles runs into an old friend - an Arctic fox named Professor Natquik - in Antarctica. They must work together with the other Octonauts to prevent a group of penguins from falling into an ice chasm.It can be driven from two places. Either from the main cabin, or from a lighthouse like enclosure on the roof. Shellington has crashed the Gup-D three times, once in The Remipedes, once in The Hammerhead Sharks, and once in Operation Cooperation. Although Kwazii is the Gup's default pilot, Peso and Tweak have been seen at the crafts wheel on a few occasions. The Octonauts struggle to save a pod of spinner dolphins who seem to be just swimming in their sleep.

Gup-M - an upcoming Gup. Not much is known about it. The toy has already been made. It stands for Mudskipper and Motorcycle. It was featured in "The caves of sac actun. A dog who speaks with an Australian accent (American in the US version). Dashi is the photographer for the Octonauts and takes care of all the computers aboard the Octopod. It first aired in the UK on 4 October 2010 on CBeebies, a BBC television channel for children under 7. The first series ended in February 2011 but continued to be aired as repeats. A second series of 22 episodes commenced in November 2012. Kwazii crashes the GUP-E, leaving him and Peso marooned on a desert island inhabited by a fish who can walk on land. Their SOS message to the Octonauts is relayed in increasingly garbled form via the blenny, a blue fish a squid, and an angler fish. Some fish (like the Humuhumunukunukuapua'as) mistake the Gup-B for an actual shark and get scared. Even the Hammerhead Sister Pup saw the Gup (in Tiger Shark mode) and got scared. An enormous Australian saltwater crocodile is lost in the Antarctic Ocean and the Octonauts must bring him home without anyone getting hurt. When some leafy sea dragons accidentally get into the Octopod, the Octonauts must find them before they end up in Kwazii's stew!

The Octonauts must get two mantis shrimp to stop fighting before their powerful claw strikes destroy the Octopod. A walrus mistakes Peso's medical bag for a clam and takes it home. Walruses don't like other animals near their colonies, so Captain Barnacles, Kwazii, and Peso disguise themselves as a fellow walrus to sneak into the dangerous colony and retrieve the medical bag.Kwazii has a pirate map showing the location of a sunken treasure ship that allegedly harbours a Kraken-like a sea monster, but it turns out to be an octopus that can change colour to camouflage himself. This is an ambulance GUP and colored green. A tank at the vehicle's rear can be filled with water for creatures with gills. This is a rugged three-wheeling buggy, with a creature-carrying sidecar, designed to scout and search swamplands or maneuver through the muddy marsh.
