Anyway, definitely pick this one up if you like psychological thriller-esque romance that focuses more on character interaction and development than on plot. As she unravels the traps, her sanity tested with each game, she's forced to acknowledge the true evil in the world around her. The author put in the perfect amount of darkness, thrill, tension alongwith the psychological details being the cherry on the top.

I, for one, found myself hanging onto the bumper by my fingernails; sometimes having to cover my eyes, yet looking through my fingers for what was to come next. Helping convicted serial killers try to understand themselves a little better and find out what makes their compulsion to kill is why Dr. Being the first book I’m reading by Wolfe, I wasn’t sure what to think about her, because I think she hasn’t been big among my circle of readers, and plus I avoided reading the reviews as well, so I was very blind. The characters are amazingly written plus the intense tension between them like they were barely touching and I was ready to burst into flames.but you feel both sophisticated and fucked up while reading, which is just how i like my dark romance. Come se non bastasse, ha anche un quoziente intellettivo altissimo, sa ogni cosa di London e di chiunque altro, gli basta schioccare le dita ma il suo cervello lo sa già. I think the fact that we got a psychological and 'therapy' side to this story made things harder to deal with.

I’m going to do two things right now- add Wolfe to my to-look-out-for authors list and then start Born, Madly. This is by far one of my favorite reads of the year and I won’t be telling you that I think you should read it. But after so many years, she no longer believes rehabilitation is possible and wants to leave that path behind her. he was enjoying torturing them and i know i didn't finish the duet but i don't believe they could ever have a hea because one day this man can decide he wants to kill her and i wouldn't be surprised.I need more time to arrange my emotions, but one thing that I know is that this is definitely a fantastic book. Wolfe sets a very somber tone from the very beginning, and the tension wraps itself around you like a tight thread urging you to turn the pages without halt. I should despise what you are, but you caught me in your web, and I’m begging you to bleed me dry, that’s how twisted you got me. The way they were self aware, always in each other's head and catching up with what game the other one was trying to play makes this more enjoyable because they weren't each other's victim.
