Description

The Heritage Skywatcher 100 P telescope is a super light and convenient grab and go scope that is perfect for your first unit. But don’t be fooled by the low price, this scope really holds its own out there. The high quality 100 mm parabolic optics lets you see the bright planets and moon as well as other distant nebulae and star clusters.

A wider angle eyepiece will allow you to see more in your field of view, I recommend 60-80 degrees. This will make it easier to see things as you explore the night sky by sweeping with a low power eyepiece then switching to a higher power eyepiece to see the object more clearly. A great value all-rounder with the added convenience of alignment by smartphone, this large yet affordable Dobsonian telescope offers sharp and immersive views of galaxies, nebulae but also planets and the Moon. To easily move the AD10 up and down but help it to stay in the desired position, the telescope tension can be adjusted to match the weight of accessories on the tube assembly. To use this system, just turn the large aluminum knobs on either side of the telescope to tighten or loosen the tension until everything balances perfectly. Easy and fast!Another great feature of this 10-inch Dobsonian telescope is the tension control handle. Thanks to this feature you can move the mount of the telescope and change its settings according to your needs with a minimum amount of pulsation. Also, when you release the telescope it should maintain its set position. The 10" parabolic mirror on the AD10 is made from quality materials and is figured to 1/12th wave. It is finished off with an aluminum and silicon dioxide coating that offers 93% reflectivity to ensure stunningly bright images. Orion Nebula -M42 1344 light years away, the Orion nebula is an diffuse nebula where stars are formed. Orion is a great place to start as it is very easy to find. It is good with or without a filter and beautiful with a wide range of eyepieces. You may even be able to snap a good picture with your phone to show friends and family.

Intermediate Level - These products offer higher performance and more advanced features than Level 1: Beginner models. They typically take a bit longer to learn and need some set-up or adjustments. But anyone with the slightest technical bent will have no problem getting familiar with these models. Referring to the manual is recommended. As the name suggests, the SkyLiner 200 P Parabolic Sky Watcher is among one of the best models for star gazers and deep sky astronomers. You’re going to need a lot of light grasp to see fainter and more distant objects; and that’s exactly what this Dobsonian telescope offers. Thanks to their larger aperture, a parabolic mirror is ideal for some serious deep sky peeking.

Celestron StarSense Explorer 10 inch Dobsonian Telescope

The highest practical limit is different from the often used "highest theoretical magnification" specification. The "theoretical" limit generally is 50x the aperture of the scope in inches (2x the aperture in mm). So for example, an 80mm refractor is capable of 160x, and a 10" telescope is theoretically capable of 500x magnification. You can easily control different features of this telescope with your tablet or a smartphone because this 10-inch telescope comes with a built-in WiFi signal. It is a great feature that highlights this telescope among many others you can find on the market.

First off, the Orion SkyQuest XT8i is an extremely large telescope. Thanks to its larger 203mm aperture, users can see all the planets and even a clear image of the moons of those planets. But that’s not all; you can also get a view of bodies even further away including distant galaxies and some elusive nebulae. If we’re talking physical power, then this bad boy is definitely built for the long haul. But that’s just the appetizer. The StarSense also includes a 25-mm Plössl eyepiece (though any other eyepiece you might have should also work), a 2-inch Crayford focuser, and a collimation tool. If you get serious about star-watching, I would suggest getting a laser collimator. But if you don't know what collimation is, don't worry. You don't need to use it to get great views.

Nice and easy does it

I had the 10 Inch Apetura Telescope and it was very easy to travel with and easy to set up. I am in my late 30s and I have had two spine surgeries and I had no trouble loading and unloading my scope multiple times a week. An observing chair was really helpful when using he scope.

Cloud cover is important because your telescope cannot see through clouds. Your telescope is not the James Webb! This 10-inch reflector telescope offers a sturdy and compact design. Thanks to that feature you can set up this telescope anywhere you want. It comes on a Dobsonian base that allows you to easily adjust the position of the telescope to ensure you get the perfect view of the sky. My first night out didn’t go so well, everything was blurry and never got into focus, thinking it was a collimation issue I followed the guidance from YT channel "Space Time With Robert" https://youtu.be/53sgGeAqMQs which helped me realise I had not fitted the viewer extension tube which was still in the box. Doh!! The 10" mirror sits at the end of the OTA in an adjustable mirror cell. When it comes time to make adjustments to your mirror for precise alignment, use the included Laser Collimator and then tweak the mirror's position in the cell with the hand-adjustable knobs. No tools are needed except your hands!

Patented, award-winning sky recognition technology uses your smartphone to analyse star patterns overhead and calculate the telescope’s position in real-time. Full Frame Cameras Canon EOS-R Full Frame Cameras Nikon Z Full Frame Cameras Full Frame L Mount Cameras Sony Full Frame Cameras Canon EOS DSLR Full Frame Cameras Nikon DSLR Full Frame Cameras Vlogging Cameras While the exact objects you can see depend on the current weather conditions, time of year, eyepieces and humidity, you are sure to find some specular objects worth seeing. The XT10 Classic is refreshingly easy to use thanks to its simple, "point-and-view" Dobsonian design. Instead of a more complex tripod and mount foundation, which can be a nuisance to setup and balance, the SkyQuest XT10 reflector optical tube is supported by a sturdy wooden base. This base is what makes the XT10 Classic telescope a Dobsonian reflector by name, as the first such design was made by ingenious "sidewalk astronomer" John Dobson. Just set the XT10 Classic Dobsonian base down where you want to observe, bring out the reflector optical tube, and securely couple the tube to the base using the CorrecTension springs. That's it! You're ready to take the family on inspiring and educational celestial adventures exploring the planets, Moon, and a myriad of deep-sky treasures such as nebulas, star clusters, and galaxies.
