The level of detailing is incredible and there is leg and back printing and alternate heads for all figures except Will, who doesn't get leg printing. Like I said in the London Escape review, I don't think this face is quite right for Johnny Depp's character, and needs to be more comical looking. Thanks for all your positive comments regarding my review, I am really pleased it's been so well received as I have spent a long time since I joined in November looking at all the lovely reviews on Eurobricks.

In any case it's a cool set and really can't wait to bring this and the rest of POTC in to our collection. I'm more convinced about the details: they're good enough for a set like this, but I still think the building looks too patchy. This effectively creates a pulley system between the bell and the other end of the string, just like in the movie. They fought all the way up the building and onto the roof but Captain Jack got away with the keys as the other two ran on the mill wheel across the island. This adds so much fun and play value as the fight on the wheel was one of the best parts of the film. As I said in my London Escape review, the dark blue box of all of the PotC sets fits really well with the theme, as well as with the crisp silver font near the top of the box. However if you have anyone on top of it before you launch they will fall off when you launch it, so beware! my son got three different ones for xmas, (he's just six years old) and he had them put together in two days and was playing away! gee what are my chances of this being available in Oz before the 1st of May (my son Zac's 11th Birthday) ?

Seriously, you could add on as much as you wanted to this set to reenact the scene from the film to the fullest extent. It's a bit cramped, as the structure obviously isn't as big as the one in the film, but it is playable. It's neat that there are some moving parts to this and he was able to follow the instructions pretty much all by himself. However I think the level of detail the figures have make up for it slightly, as they are just gorgeous. The end result is great, though -- the mill wheel sits on an indentation on the base, and there's a level that lets you pop it up so it rolls away freely.I am pleased with how my photos came out and I hope it comes across how much fun I was having in taking them. I really wish more of an interior would've been included, as well as a more detailed exterior (although the doorway is very cool). The torso and leg prints are also great (with shiny gold trimmings), and a new brown scabbard piece completes the minifig. The body of the Ferrari car is protected as Ferrari property under trade dress and/or design regulations. The set contains lots of the same parts to build the wheel, and I guess the Mill parts perhaps aren't too exciting to all you Castle enthusiasts who have already built lots of grey towers, but this set does have some nice bonus stuff like the bottle and the heart of Davy Jones, as well as the key to the chest. The wheel is loose, and the little Technic holder pins work well to make the whole thing spin smoothly on the supports. The Mill allows you to do a recreation of the fantastic fight scene when everyone is trying to get their hands on the Dead Man's Chest, and the key that opens it. Also included is a sprue with two keys attached, a fish in metallic (not pearl) silver, and two headgears enclosed in separate polybags. The possibilities are endless, which makes this set superior to, say, a spaceship or the like where your choices are limited. This set has a lot of great parts which feature in almost all of the other sets as well, like the bucket, the bottle and the compass. it features the bell tower where will turner and admiral norrington fight over the key to the chest, and the wheel of the mill that contains studs on the inside and outside for your minifigs to be placed inside of for play or show. Having numbered bags seems just a little nonsensical for a set this size, especially since some of the builds combine more than one bag. This set, based on a scene from a Pirates of the Caribbean movie, is fun to build, has great play features, and is good value for the money.
