Description

If you were going to keep bikes in it (or other valuables), I would recommend concreting in some ground anchors or finding some other cunning ways of being able to lock stuff up or bolt it down. After trawling the internet, trying to find a suitable replacement, the one that had the most and consistently good reviews was the Clarke Garage. I have noticed that conditions that produce condensation on the windows in my house that are single glazed have occurred far more frequently this winter than in the previous 2 or 3. It should be noted that the cover fixes to the frame, it is not pegged to the ground, so the only things stopping this blowing away in strong winds are the ground anchors, so make sure they are securely fixed.

However I then lined the door with a inch thick layer of celotex (foam sheet with ali facing on both sides, BUT also a potential fire hazard if left near something that can get it started), and sealed this all around to the structural ribs of the door apart from a few drain/breather holes at the bottom edge.

Finance is provided by PayPal Credit (a trading name of PayPal UK Ltd, Whittaker House, Whittaker Avenue, Richmond-Upon-Thames, Surrey, United Kingdom, TW9 1EH). With the tallest height allowance in the range this heavy duty garage offers excellent longevity of service as well as being practical for anyone with taller vehicles. It took an hour or so to erect and it feels premium, I laid a tarp as a base and ran it up the sides and attached to the lower side support poles with cable ties to keep water tight, that has worked really well.

Apart from that, clear instructions, dead simple to put up, not a bit missing from either box (two bits left over but that's fine by me). Practical for all manner of uses, it can also be used for outdoor trade shows and exhibitions, as building site storage, as a temporary workspace and additional storage.A highly durable powder coat is baked onto the tube frames to protect against peeling, rusting, chipping and corrosion. Fully UV treated (with added fade blockers, anti-ageing, anti-fungal and anti-yellowing agents) for long term protection against sun, rain and wind.

It shouldn't now as each leg is bolted down but I worry the push botton connections in parts of the tubular frame could detach in severe wind. If it has a pitched roof, something with some slope to it, I would consider making up an inner tent of tyvek (a very tough fabric used as the waterproof breathable layer in house roofs walls etc), and suspend it close to the inside of the roof to allow the drips drain to the walls away from the car. It's also very popular with my free-range bantam who will insist on roosting on the handlebars of whatever bike is parked there. But, because the cover isn’t pegged to the ground, the bottom edges do flap around in the wind and the frame creaks ( a lot!New: A brand-new, unused, unopened and undamaged item in original retail packaging (where packaging . The frame hoops are assembled first (instructions are clear, and all components are stamped with numbers to aid identification and assembly).

I also purchased some pegs designed for marquee tents and used these in addition to the ground anchors provided. No mention of pegging these is made in the instruction manual and no pegs are supplied, but as the feet already have holes in them and given how far these legs were moving in the wind, I subsequently decided to peg them. Condensation is a problem with warm days, cool nights and I hung a tarpaulin from the roof to make it double skinned and catch any drips. Struggled to get the 4 corner ground anchors in, but the ground was stony and I hit tree roots, although they didn't break despite using a large screwdriver to get them in.The cover has split in a couple of places, notably where the main cover is stretched over the hoops (see photo below). Please note that details and specifications contained herein, are correct at the time of publishing. It was therefore decreed that other facilities must be made available for the dirty jobs (sanding, painting, laminating etc. That's a installation issue though that has nothing to do with the intrinsic qualities of the product itself.
