Description

The side doors are held strongly with magnets at the front, and the bottom is covered by a front-accessible, full-length dust filter which aligns very easily on the way back in. Ventilation slots run from top to bottom along both sides of the front panel with dual-layer black metal mesh (a coarse perforated metal backed by fine metal screening material) built into the panel itself. The shell could be hinged outwards to access an optical drive or the front filter, but leaving it open or taking it off permanently would look weird. jbeck25691 said:hi I own this case as of yesterday got everything installed in it but have one problem I don't know how to set up the rbg for the strips on outside of case and underneath I see theres 2 3 pin connectors when I connect them only part of the rbg is coming on any help plz someoneCheck you have connected the controller correctly (p24 of Manual).

The top filter is a more conventional light mesh sandwiched between layers of metal and plastic, and the decorative metal layer may prove restrictive to top-mounted radiators, especially towards the back of the case where there are fewer holes. Due to various displays and screen resolutions, the colours may vary slightly in person and for this reason, the colours shown here must be taken as a guide only. This is a somewhat strange configuration, as there's only one spot inside for actually mounting an optical drive. The new flagship has a few upgrades over the original, but it retains the same basic look with pairs of big aluminum rails at the top and bottom and dual-curved side panels. The RGB lighting from before has been upgraded to addressable RGB, and this time it runs in continuous strips on both sides of the case and spanning the top, front, and bottom, which makes for some eye catching rainbow effects. This stunning-looking case has a lot to offer, but as audacious as it is, some shortcomings around build quality and installation ease give us pause. In the early 2000s I bought a nice all aluminum silverstone case, and that lasted me until I bought this one. Easily Accessible PortsThe advanced I/O panel comes with a 4-Pole headset jack (audio+mic), dedicated mic jack, USB 3.

In addition to the excellent support for hardware and cooling, the Cosmos C700M also pleases visually. There are seven distinct colors without the built-in controller, or you may set the chassis to breathe through all the various hues. The front of the case is also on a hinge, but it opens only about 6 inches at its widest point, tipping downward . Supporting both the aRGie-Bargie lighting and fans – via an internal hub – is the I/O panel, which has four fan control settings (50/75/100 percent and motherboard PWM control) and 12 RGB settings (seven static, four colour cycles, and motherboard aRGB control).Unboxing this monster, I heard the sound of a number of screws falling, and sure enough found five of them in the bottom of the box. Covered up behind the front side panel are the drive bays and fan placements, as well as the space for many kinds of liquid cooling.

The number of intake fans combined with the width and general size of the case means that the GPU is supplied with plenty of cool air, and is able to exhaust as much hot air as possible. Its tempered glass side window provides a sleek look while also allowing for easy monitoring of the internal components. The center portion of the front panel features a slotted hinge at the base that allows the panel to tilt outwards to allow access to the optical drive slot without having to fully remove the front panel. One unique aspect of this bracket: You can tilt the card backward from full vertical, if you like (assuming there's clearance behind it), showing it off in a sloped or reclining position.Similarly, the central roof section lifts out from the back exposing exactly the same model bracket up top, and usefully these brackets can be removed for working externally via two simple screws. Two hinges affix it to the rear of the case, which makes opening the side easy, while a magnet holds the door closed at front. They may divide opinion, but their sheer quality is undeniable, and they actually prove very useful when it comes to manoeuvring this 23kg, 650mm-squared beast. A further unusual, if not unique, feature of this case: It's possible to unscrew and rotate the motherboard mounting tray 90 degrees.

Cooler Master showcases three primary ones in a pamphlet shipped with the case: conventional, chimney, and inverted. Port is Cooler Master’s modular mounting system that expands mounting options for hardware and brackets. Supports vertical (and unique 90-degree-vertical) mounting of video card, and includes the riser hardware. That’s great compared to the other cases on the chart, equalling the excellent Silverstone RV02 in performance.

Taking a moment to be incredibly picky, there are some pieces of the plastic trim that don’t fit quite flush. This changeability is also much in keeping with Cooler Master's DIY and "maker" aesthetic, modularizing the chassis and letting you strip it down to the frame, to do as you like.
