Anyone else remember the days when games were play tested BEFORE release? I mean, it's not as if this hasn't been in development for years. Lightsaber combat and ranged combat have both been much improved, but they’re not the most impressive areas of improvement.

I never played a LEGO game before. Still scratching my head after watching some gameplay footage. Will I actually enjoy it? The whole combat system has been revamped in a way, though it doesn’t really differ from the past in being able to just non-stop punch your way out of things. It’s a similar feeling to a game like Super Mario Odyssey, in which it felt like there was a Power Moon around each corner. There’s always something cool around every turn in Skywalker Saga, and it’s most likely funny too. suikoden maybe because people have jobs and don’t get much time to play midweek, then on weekends they have other stuff to do. So taking a day off to fully enjoy something you’re looking forward to becomes an attractive optionI think the only Lego game I played in my life was the original Lego Star Wars with a friend. Crazy it's been how many year since release. Although, if you’re looking to be as productive as possible each minute of play, there’s always, and I mean always, something to go collect. However there’s more than a few problems that hamper the fun, some of which get even worse when trying to play co-op. But without that comedic context, the pacing doesn’t work as well as it could. This is like the boss fights in that there are examples of good and bad across the game, of the pacing working and not working. Dr-M Hmm. The game is great fun on a fundamental level, but I would say a big part of the appeal is the movie angle. The game does take you through the storyline of each film, but it's seriously condensed. You'll probably be fine but you'd get an extra level of enjoyment from watching the films beforehand.

Journey to a galaxy far, far away with LEGO Star Wars: The Skywalker Saga on PS5 and buy now, at GAME.Have you played Lego: The Force Awakens or any of the other Lego Star Wars games that already exist? I'm wondering how the overlapping content compares to what already exists. It seems the gameplay is much improved, but it should follow the same story, right? I'm just wondering because my daughter didn't care much for the Lego Episode VII game. Going through the story missions and cleaning out collectibles specific to those missions is all fine and well, but the real fun of course comes in the Galaxy Free Play mode, in which you can go anywhere, be anyone, and do anything. Want to play as a Jedi? A Sith? Rebel, bounty hunter, or droid? LEGO Star Wars: The Skywalker Saga features hundreds of playable characters from throughout the galaxy.

I was initially uninterested in this because Lego games have become too formulaic. But they've actually tried to do something different here and it looks really nice. Wow, this had a 36.4GB Day 1 patch - that's pretty much the same size as the code on the blu-ray disc!! But it was a big inconvenience, because it made my hours of progress towards a 100% complete save file useless, and necessitated that I start over. That level of freedom and almost overwhelming amount of things to do is what makes the Skywalker Saga the best LEGO game I’ve ever played. It’s not that I think that to be a bad approach, because like I said, Star Wars shouldn’t be taken too seriously, and no one is playing the LEGO versions of these games to experience the story – that’s what the films are for.
