However, if you already own a M365 Pro, we wouldn’t recommend trading it in for a Pro 2 just yet. Yes, there are some nice safety additions such as reflectors and stronger lights and other extras but, on the whole, I don’t feel it’s enough to justify the upgrade of what is essentially the same e-scooter.

Bursting onto the scene at the end of 2016, few would have expected the Xiaomi M365 to become one of the world’s best-selling electric scooters. Three years later, the Xiaomi M365 Pro was released with a larger battery and more powerful motor. There’s a thumb throttle accelerator next to the right grip, with the brake lever attached to the left grip. In the middle of the handlebar, you’ll find the bell, which has a latch underneath that secures the stem to the rear mudguard when folded. The LED display on the steering stem displays your current speed, riding mode and how much battery capacity you have remaining. This is the maximum rider weight that your product can support. We strongly recommend abiding by this for safety and warranty reasons. The mobile app provides some other useful information, such as current speed, distance travelled and the current battery capacity in per cent. I particularly liked the estimated range, which tells you how many miles or kilometres the battery is likely to generate before needing to be recharged. If your kid is the kind to ride his/her scooter to school, they’ll get a lot of use out of this model. And, thanks to its construction, it’s sure to last a bit longer than many other models. For most rides, however, you’re likely to want to be in Drive or Sports mode, simply because they deliver superior acceleration, more speed and the power you need to climb hills. I found that even in Drive mode the Pro 2 struggled to pull my 80kg frame up steep hills, especially on cold days. Eh. I’m on the fence. On the one hand, it has the unique Twist & Roll steering. On the other, I don’t think it would wow an older Spider-Man fan. The Pro 2 also made the transition from road to path to grass very easily, which is something to consider if you’ll be using it for all-terrain purposes. And battery life seems pretty good. While I didn’t ride it for long enough to test how far I could have travelled on one charge, four separate rides covering 14 miles still left me with plenty of battery life, with half my time testing in Drive Mode. There isn’t much to differentiate this from the other Ultimate Spider-Man scooters (in fact, it’s pretty much the same except for the slight design changes), but it’s still available at an amazing price. A great alternative and a solid choice for any Spidey fan.

At a great price, this is very good investment and is sure to be well-received by any Spider-Man fan. Reasons I like this one: low price, heavy duty wheels, fully adjustable and a great size for kids of any age. Reasons I don’t: JUST LOOK AT IT. For reasons of hygiene and safety, personal grooming products, cosmetics or items of intimate clothing cannot be returned. Beast! Despite being the most expensive on the list, I still believe this heavy-duty, hard-riding Spider-Man 10-inch Scooter deserves a space near the top, as it is the only option suitable for off-roading, bashing into curbs and general wear-and-tear.

Ultimate Spider-Man Twist Scooter (Mondo)

This particular model weighs in at 2.5kg, which is incredibly light (it’s made mostly of plastic, so it’s not the most durable, but it does have removable handlebars for easy storage). Another excellently-designed scooter, again sporting the red handlebars and wheels, but this time in a three-wheel edition. I know that 3-wheeled scooters are more popular with younger children (between the ages of 3─5) who want something safe, yet fast. Parents get extra piece of mind too, as three-wheel models are less likely to tip over. Unwanted Food or Drink Products - Once supply conditions are broken, there are a number of factors outside of our control that can affect the quality of a product. Therefore perishable goods such as food and drink cannot be returned.

The Xiaomi Pro 2 is easy to push around and light enough to carry around for short periods of time but, at 14.2kg, it’s not something you want to be carrying around for too long. When folded, it measures 1.13m long, so should fit into most car boots. As you’d expect, the Xiaomi Pro 2 has many of the same features as its predecessor, including motor power (300W), battery size and range (446Wh, 28 miles), maximum speed (15.5mph) and maximum rider weight of 100kg. A slight variation on the Ultimate Spider-Man 3-wheel model, this scooter features grey handlebars, blue rubber wheels and some other very minor design changes, including new decals. Reflectors replace the red strips on the sides of the wheel frame and the mudguard is stronger and covers more of the wheel than on the M365 Pro. The front light is a little bigger, too, more powerful at 2W than its predecessor at 1.1W and brighter, now illuminating up to ten metres ahead of you.Sleek. Shiny. Spidey. I absolutely love this 2-wheeled scooter. It’s built mostly out of metal, making it a little more appealing to the eyes, not to mention a bit more robust, and the dark decals bearing the Amazing Spider-Man designs mark this scooter out as being clearly intended for older children. The Xiaomi Pro 2 has three riding modes that you can switch between by pressing the power button when the scooter is on. The three modes – Eco, Drive and Sport – cap your speed at different levels. Eco gives you a top speed of 10mph, Drive 12mph and Sport 15mph, although I managed to go slightly faster in each mode. A range of up to 28 miles on one charge is perfect for those who are always on the move, the brakes are superb, and you’ll always feel as though you’re in control. A solid choice. But does having a small bag on the front justify the price tag? I can’t say either way, but I will say this: it’s a very nice bag.

Overall, the Xiaomi Pro 2 is a brilliant scooter and a clear upgrade on the original M365 Pro. It’s easy to set up and ride, and the powerful 300W motor helps you navigate hills easily when in the right mode.

The Xiaomi Pro 2 is a well-designed, powerful, fully featured e-scooter, but it still isn’t particularly weather-resistant

Perfect for kids who like to weave up and down the city streets. This three-wheeled scooter from Mondo promises an innovative steering system, which is a fancy way of saying you can lean the handlebars to steer. That makes it a little safer and more responsive than other models. Green Goblin makes a rare appearance on this timelessly-designed two-wheel scooter which, in my opinion, would be perfect for older kids and even teenaged Spidey fans. I’m not big on this design. The all-blue makes it look a little… clinical? Is that the right word? The cool type on the handlebar unit is the only design feature that draws me to this scooter. The wheels are made of PVC which strikes me as being a bad material for use on roads and dirt paths and one which will require cleaning from time to time. The Pro 2 does have a few upgrades up its sleeves, with bigger, brighter lights, extra reflectors, and the addition of a hard strap that connects the mudguard to the scooter at the rear axle. This serves two main purposes: first, it stops the mudguard from rattling around; second, it also prevents riders from accidentally using the mudguard as a rear brake. A personal favourite, this inline scooter featuring brand-new Spider-Man: Homecoming decals in all-metal with red foam handlebars, red wheels and rear stomp-brake, is sure to be every inch a fan-favourite. I just love the design of the board. Very crisp and modern.
