It doesn't bring something new, but it's a harmonious scent, very versatile and perfect for office and daytime. Discover an urban cocktail with the citrus energy of bergamot and grapefruit, the aromatic intensity of rosemary essence, and a cool twist of Haitian vetiver. Vintage fans who can only get fresh scents with an extra touch of musty oak moss will dismiss it as new-fangled stuff. But I also think that you don't make a mistake with this perfume, especially since it's quite cheap to get and the fragrance does a solid job on the ground. To prolong the trail of the fragrance, we recommend using the products in the range such as shower gels, body lotions or deodorants.

Elysium retains it's sharp citrus/woody composition throughout it's life,as does man ice, whereas this almost immediately transitions to a more creamy, almost vanillic heart which stays throughout it's life. All in al decent release from Hugo Boss, a bit different from most 'blue' and aquatic summer fragrances.Some fragrances are too heavy-handed with being aquatic, so I can really see why someone would like this. Bottom Line The scent was pleasant and reminded me of some other top mens scents but I give it 4 Stars since to get 5 I should have loved it or at least a couple of the people I let try it should have.

It does smell super fresh and invigorating and just different enough from the usual citrusy EDT’s which I favor. Quite unique other than it smell like Elysium, which I DOUBT a majority of people would have smelled before.

Based on the note breakdown, I was expecting something along the lines of TF's Grey Vetiver, but instead it's just your standard run of the mill generic blue frag. I would love this scent if the citrus and bergamot were more strong as I love those notes in this fragrance but the sharp notes just kill it for me. However because of its synthetic nuances and sweetness I’d pass over this and take something like Missoni Wave/Pour Homme or Chrome extreme. When my husband first sprayed this on, it smelled more like alcohol than anything scented, but once the smell of the alcohol dissipated, it smells really good.

For me, this Hugo reversed is an amalgamation of several different fragrances I've smelled in the past. They're very similar, but in a way that you would wear a Rolex watch and you would give your child a good replica.If you want to wear a fragrance, without drawing attention to the fragrance, this is very pleasant and subtle. Sadly, is smells pretty much exactly the same as HR due to whatever synthetic compound they're using, just weaker.
